People coral in China
Lin Tianzhuan has been known to nicknamed "the tree people" or "coral reef" because of the hard, dry scales that grow on the body.
Mr. Lin, 38, from Shuimen, southern China, suffered from a rare disease that caused his horns to spread throughout his body. Small nodules began to appear on the hands and feet since the age of 13.
"At first there were only a few notes, so I used antibiotics and creams but did not get the results. Instead, the disease is getting worse. "
"They grow more and more quickly, covering their arms, legs, back, and even their foreheads. I turned into stone and was very scared, "said Lin.
Since the illness is too much, Lin dared not step foot out of the house because of neighbors and neighbors shunned. They also gave Lin the nickname "coral".
"Gradually, the horn was getting thicker and I could not move my legs and arms. It is scary. When I leave the house, I have to cover my body because people can scream when they see me. "
But Lin is recovering from a skin doctor's treatment plan after a period of study on Lin's case.
Dr. Liu Yinghong, deputy director of the Fusochation Skin Diseases Hospital, said: "His arms, legs, calves and forehead are covered with dark, . We were shocked when this happened. "
After 1 year of treatment and surgery, Lin is now nearing full recovery. The photo shows the marks on his hands are no longer.
"Maybe Lin will have to undergo radiotherapy one day but he has recovered very well so far," Dr. Liu said.
Lin's illness is similar to that of Indonesian-born Dede Koswara. As in Dede's case, Chinese doctors believe that Lin's illness is caused by human papillomavirus (HPV). Dede is also being treated for the disease.
