James Shaw Jr. the hero from the Waffle House shooting

This is James Shaw Jr. the hero who disarmed Travis Reinking in the Waffle House in Nashville, Tennessee, he stated that he only did it to protect himself and doesn't want to be recognized as a hero. The shooting occurred when Mr Ranking pulled up in a pick-up truck at around 3:30 a.m he was only wearing a green jacket which he took off as he left the scene, as he approached the Waffle House he shot two people outside then entered the building and fired more shots killing two more. Three victims died at the scene and the fourth in hospital. The four victims were:
-Akilah DaSilva, who was 23 and was wounded outside the restaurant, he later died in hospital.
-DeEbony Groves, she was 21 and a Belmont University Student
-Joe Perez, he was 20 and at the time was getting food at the Waffle House, he died outside.
-Taurean Sanderlin, who was 29 and worked at the restaurant was shot outside.

How did James Shaw Jr. disarm the shooter?
As he heard gunshots and glass smashing, he hid in the restaurant's toilet, but the gunman shot him injuring his arm through the door. At this point Mr. Shaw thought to himself "It was at that time that I kind of made my mind up, because there's no way to lock that door, that if it was going to come down to it he was gonna have to work to kill me" and when the firing stop and Mr. Reinking looked at his gun, Mr. Shaw rushed him and a brawl started, he hit him with the door and the gun got jammed then he took it off the shooter and threw it over the counter top, and finally he forced Mr.Reinking out of the restaurant, he was later spotted in woodland wearing black trousers and nothing else stated the police.

Murder warrants are being drawn up against the shooter. But this isn't the first time he's been involved with the police, he was previously held for breaching the security barrier at the White House in 2017, he told the Secret Service officers that he was going to "inspect the grounds" and waned to meet President Trump. After this the authorities confiscated weapons from him but they gave them to his father instead of taking them away. One of these weapons, an AR-15, was used in the shooting.

The authorities state that he suffers from mental problems, another incident was when a CNN article reported that the police were called to a public swimming pool after Mr. Reinking dived in the pool and exposed himself to the lifeguard and was only wearing a pink women's coat. On another occasion a year before the White House incident he stated that Taylor Swift was stalking him and hacking his phone, the police stated "Travis stated he did not want to hurt Taylor Swift or anyone else, he only wanted the harassment to stop"

This has been reported as a hate crime as he was a known bigot. But as usual if it's a white person they never state his religion but instead say they are mentally ill, if it would've been a muslim/black person it would be in every single news channel worldwide but as we live in a racist world things don't work like that, James Shaw Jr. is a hero whether he claims it or not. He should be recognized for the heroic actions he did to disarm the shooter.
