UK comedian forced to go to jail for a joke

Scottish comedian Mark Meechan, best known as Count Dankula, as been convicted of hate crime.

In a video post a couple of years ago, Count Dankula explains why he thought his pet pug how to do a nazi salute.

At the start of the video, Meechan clarifies his intentions : "My girlfriend is always raving about how cute and adorable our dog is so I thought I would teach him the least cute thing that I can think of which is a Nazi."

Meechan has recently been convicted of "inciting racial hatred" and could face jail time.
