Free Eye Exams

Hope you are having a great and wonderful Saturday. It's finally sunny for once in a few weeks here.

Just wanted everyone to know that the Lions Club is offering free eye exams and eye glasses for those in need. Each month your local Lions Clubs will help between 60 to 80 people. Your local Lions Clubs will help these people receive free eye exams and eye glasses.

Each client must be vetted from one of your local surrounding area Lions Clubs members. Clubs are charged $20 per person for glasses and $15 per person for exams--- a huge savings of hundreds of dollars. The hope is that with more grants the Lions Clubs can get the cost per person down to zero dollars.

In some local area Lions Clubs they will check your blood pressure and blood sugar levels. This way clients can be referred directly to the emergency room. They also can check for cases of tuberculosis, HIV and hepatitis. Clients also can undergo high-pressure tests for diseases such as glaucoma. You can also get prescriptions for contact lenses, as well.
