GOOD NEWS! - Costa Rica about to ban disposable plastics until 2021

It doesn't matter if it´s at the grill party in the park, the sport event, or your house party - the plastic tableware used at those events are usually used once to only be thrown away afterwards.
Costa Rica wants to call it a day and prohibit disposable plastic completely by 2021.

Costa Rica would be the first country imposing the ban. Previously, the Indian capital New Delhi banned all disposable plastics at the beginning of this year, but Costa Rica aims for a nationwide ban.

They are working on a 4 year strategy to educate people to make less use of disposable plastic as well as increase the supply of biodegradable tableware or even promote eatable cutlery as an alternative to non-degradable plastic (http://www.bakeys.com/).
