Them recruiting young isn't exactly new. I had a few beating down my door when I was young myself.

It's kinda messed up all the same though. They've shown in the past a tendency to abuse their powers very recently, and I don't think they've given us any reason to trust us since then. If a kid is conscripted at a young age and brought in to just spy on everyone, perhaps they might come to think of it as normal. Then they could actually end up in intelligence for quite a while, and bring those beliefs along with them.
