Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India and Chinese President Xi Jinping will hold their first formal bilateral meeting in five years on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit in Kazan, Russia. This development comes after India and China reached an agreement on patrolling arrangements along their disputed border, known as the Line of Actual Control (LAC), earlier this week.
