Luxembourg and Switzerland lead Europe with the highest wages: But which country ranks first?

Referring to the latest data, from salary calculations, it turns out that Switzerland has the second highest average salary in Europe and the third best in the world.

Data from the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) confirms Switzerland's status as one of the best countries in the world to earn a salary.

It turns out that the OECD Better Life Index ranks Switzerland behind the United States and Luxembourg for the average wage - while pay in Switzerland is also well above average in all OECD countries.

The OECD in 2019, shows that the annual disposable income of Switzerland ranks at 37,072 CHF per household.

That's above the average of CH 33,251 in all OECD households - and is just behind Luxembourg (F 39,264) and the United States (45 45,284) on a global scale.
