Two pieces of memorabilia from 1984 when a small movement grew up around London.
We called ourselves STOP THE CITY and we knew exactly what the City was up to because we worked there.
It was quite an event... the first of 3 actually.
The 2nd and 3rd were heavily infiltrated by undercover cops and several ringleaders were arrested and chemically coshed on remand.
The movement disappeared - reeling in shock that our government would burn cars and smash a few windows in the City to make us look bad.
All we intended to do was stop the city literally - ie stop the traffic and the movement.
A symbolic gesture if you like.
But the infilTRAITORS had a mission to destroy us, like all protests and the best way to do that was with violence.
