Great article. We must all be more cognizant of what media does to our interpretation of facts and events in the world.
It's getting to the stage that to really have a firm grasp on what a particular piece of news is actually trying to say, you must become your own investigator.
Take nothing at face value.
It's always been at that stage, but the media is counting on the fact that people are too lazy or too busy to do so and will swallow whatever they are fed by the news organizations.
