An ex-girlfriend of John Worboys who says she was drugged and raped by the Black Cab Rapist has vowed to go to police - to put him back in jail.

Jan Reynolds did not report the monster who assaulted 200 after becoming his first victim - as long ago as 1989.

Now Jan, 66, is prepared to report Worboys after it was announced he will be freed after just eight years. She vowed: “I’ll go to police if it means that vile rapist goes back to jail.”

The revelation comes as a leading barrister said new evidence could spark a fresh prosecution.

John Cooper QC said: “If there is other evidence out there, then let’s have it. If there is, he could be prosecuted. There’s no sell by date in prosecution.”

Retired GP’s surgery worker Jan said Worboys spiked her wine then woke her in the morning with a chilling grin, smirking: “I think you had a little too much to drink.”

She is adamant she was raped. Worboyts went on to carry out hundreds more attacks on drunken women he picked up in London’s West End after becoming a cabbie.
