Taliban attack in Kabul and killed 95
At least 95 people were killed in a car bomb explosion in a police checkpoint in Afghanistan's capital Kabul. More than 151 injured Taliban have claimed responsibility for the attack.
There is also fear that the number of dead can increase.
According to the BBC, a bomb exploded in an ambulance near Kabul's Embassy area and government offices on Saturday afternoon. During the working day there were many people there.
Afghan health ministry spokesman Wahid Mazro said that a road attack was conducted in a busy area of
the city while lunch.
At the time of the blast, the country's parliament member Mirwais Yasini was nearby. He said that the blast occurred near the High Peace Council office and several foreign embassies in front of the ambulance search site.
Many people were killed in the accident, he said.
In the city center the smoke clutches upstairs from the blast site. During the blast, buildings of hundreds of meters were shaken.
Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack. The group acknowledged the responsibility of attacking Kabul's Intercontinental Hotel a week ago, in which the attack killed more than 20 people.
