According to the Director of GC "ECOOFFICE" Andrey Kovalev, the interest in this service already, and it's growing.
"Taking payments with bitcoins, we will bring to the commercial real estate market additional effective demand. Interest in the service is, we already had such requests, and we plan to begin accepting cryptocurrency as soon as the legal Department will develop a payment scheme compliant with the requirements of the Russian legislation, – says Kovalev. – In the first six months after the launch direction, according to our forecasts, the share of transactions with payment in bitcoin at the facilities of GC “ECOOFFICE” will be from 5% to 10%. In the future, especially with the inclusion of cryptocurrency in the system of legal regulation, this percentage may be significantly more."
The cost of renting space in the facilities of GC “ECOOFFICE” is calculated based on the bitcoin exchange rate to the ruble. The company plans in the next two years to start paying in bitcoin at all sites, starting with business parks "Derbenevskaya" and "Tanners". With a stable demand, a list of accepted cryptocurrencies will be expanded.
