Abandon Windows XP? It is not too late
Technology: 100,000 Australian Defense Ministry posts migrated to Windows Microsoft officially stopped providing support for Windows XP in 2014.
The Australian Department of Defense has announced the upgrade of its operating system to Windows 10, eventually abandoning Windows XP, which Microsoft had first introduced in 2001.
Microsoft's extended support for Windows XP officially ended on April 8, 2014. However, Microsoft seemed willing to post patches for its customers who had paid enough.
