It's official: War in Afghanistan was a LIE
Millions of lives ruined, hundreds of thousands (mainly innocents) murdered, trillions in resources used. Almost 20 years, ALL based on lies.
The conspiracy theorists who knew this all along, such as myself, have just been fully vindicated by evidence that top officials conspired to conduct this massive war - the longest in US history - based on nothing. They lied to begin the war, days after the attacks of 9/11 in 2001, and they've lied nonstop to keep it going.
I don't pretend to understand why those responsible are suddenly volunteering this information to the public right now. It's not like Jeff Bezos' "Washington Post" is a beacon of truth - in fact, it is widely known to be nothing more than a mouthpiece of the deep state. They want us to know they drone-bombed hundreds of thousands of people using trillions of our dollars, based on their lies? It's a little disturbing.
That aside, I don't have the time right now to dig through this massive document dump. I've read summaries from people who have, and I'll get to it at some point, there are just SO many major stories happening right now, I'll have to leave it there.
Dan
But first, a related personal story.
I had a close friend, Dan, during my college years who was a member of the Canadian reserves. He was often going off to training camps, drills, marches, public events, that kind of thing. Despite being very different people, we had the same sense of silly humour, and grew close after years of intense friendship.
In the early 2000s he was called up to fight for Canada in Afghanistan. He was gone for a while, back for a minute, and then gone for a while again. After a few years, probably 2007 or so, he was on extended leave and we caught up at a holiday party.
But Dan wasn't the same guy.
His silliness, which had survived through adolescence and college well into adulthood, had since been dulled or removed. He was more serious about everything, more supportive of the war effort, a bit uncomfortable to be around. He admitted that he had changed, and tried to explain why.
Several weeks into his first deployment, Dan was selected for a secret night mission into enemy territory. He had to sign a non-disclosure agreement and take a verbal pledge that he would NEVER tell anyone the details of that mission, and to my dismay, he kept that promise. All he'd tell us is that "bad things happened" that night, and that it wasn't the only time. I don't know what he meant, but I can guess.
Today, we know a LOT of "bad things" happened in Afghanistan, and they were ALL based on lies told by a handful of powerful elitists.
The Toll
The toll on allied forces and their loved ones is immense. But the toll on the Afghanistan people, not to mention those in all the other countries we're destroying for the War of Terror, is catastrophic and not even being talked about.
Millions without homes, without family members, without their belongings, without infrastructure, without a future. The misery is incalculable. Our minds recoil from the magnitude of the crime - we can't fathom the amount of pain and sorrow we've manifested. Additional hatred generated for "UN forces" is justified. We tormented and scorched a massive region of the planet, to empower tyrants who are still at the reigns of the military industrial complex, looking for their next targets.
WE are the terrorists. WE are the evil that plagues this Earth. WE are the unjust aggressors who should be outed, jailed, and have our lands and our legacy stripped from us, remembered as depraved monsters for all time!
"We" is the deep state behind the USA, Israel, Canada, UK, France, Germany, and other Western NATO countries. "We" is also the blind taxpaying slaves in those countries, and anyone actively supporting these wars of aggression and LIES. "We" are the ones with Support Our Troops ribbons, ignorantly enabling a culture of wars of conquest.
Those of us speaking out against unjust wars, withdrawing support, minimizing contribution to the system, and actively spreading peace must continue our efforts.
Will the public ask "if the longest war in history is actually a lie, what else are they not telling us?"
Or will they ask "how does it affect anything in my life?" - still unable to see the bars of their cage, as their captors laugh and jangle the keys from the other side?
My friendship with Dan survived everything... except the War in Afghanistan. Today, I wonder how he feels, knowing the "bad things" he participated in - which he only did because he believed they were necessary to keep Canada safe - were actually based on lies?
DRutter
I saw a lot of posts today getting $8 or $15 or even more, just for simple selfies. The former bidbots are out in force, upvoting spam like wildfire. Meanwhile, real articles like this tend to go essentially unpaid, and unseen. Something's not right with this blockchain. Good content is rarely rewarded, but shit almost always is.
"We invade violent countries to make them peaceful."

Yes, I've been doing videos for 10 years, spreading awareness that the wars in Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and Libya are wars of conquest and aggression, spilling blood and treasure on all sides, sowing hatred and violence across the planet. I've exposed the liars like John Kerry, John McCain, Donald Rumsfeld, and dozens more whose corrupt agendas take us into fraudulent wars. I've named the ones behind it all. Still, nobody cares, until war happens to them.

Stop blaming all the shit the government does on some vague concept like the deep state. The people responsible for the war were elected. Everyone knew that afghanistan didn't commit 9/11 you didn't have to be a conspircy theorist.
I don't blame everything on the deep state. Where'd you get that idea?
Some people responsible for the war were elected. Others weren't. What's your point?
There's more to the Afghanistan war than just 9/11. You're simply not aware of the complexities, and your foolish comment demonstrates that.
