They will lie with a sociopathic grace, straight to your face.

They will give pronouncements, demonstrating the folly of your ways, the arrogance of your demands.

They remain, as always, perfunctory bureaucrats managing an economic system that is sending our society into an irreversible state of environmental uninhabitability.

Don't trust honey from the tongue of vipers.

The neoliberal order within the democratic party, which constitute it's essence (it isn't and cannot be a progressive party) are doing everything in their power to stop a 'Green New Deal', which is absolutely needed, yesterday, to begin the process of adaptation necessary to survive the climate crisis.
