How Dare You Trust Politicians to Save the World? [VIDEO]
Many parents are worried about the number of kids suffering from anxiety and depression these days, yet some of those concerned adults feed their children misguided and fear-based narratives about the sky falling.
Yes, the world as you know it may in fact be turned upside down soon, but likely not how you’ve been told!
So what is going on with this Greta Thunberg girl and her environmental hysteria? Is she just a brainwashed actress?
Most people seem unaware that, particularly in poor and developing countries, carbon emissions are more a lifeline to children than they are a threat.
Certainly, any challenges posed by climate change do not require the presence of a global climate dictatorship.
As Ryan McMaken at the Mises Institute puts it, Thunberg is essentially telling people in poor countries to drop dead:
“Human societies are already motivated to do the sorts of things that will be essential in overcoming climate-change challenges... pursuing higher standards of living through technological innovation is key... but that isn't fostered by shaking a finger at Brazilian laborers and telling them to forget about a family car.”
Of course, rational and sober thoughts on Greta and ‘climate change’ seem hard to come by on social media. By the way, what ever happened to Jeffrey Epstein?
I reflect on all of this and more in my latest walk and talk from Mexico City. Some of the points I make in the video below may surprise you.
Strange my daughter doesn't get invited to the UN to talk about how politicians are the biggest polluters, taxation is theft, and all governments are criminal organizations!

Rick Ross? No shit!!!
And biggest pollution makers are China... Yes China. They don't care a bit neither does India.. or so many developing nation's. Asia is a massive pollution swamp. So is most of the middle East.
USA used depleted uranium in Afghanistan and Iraq.. wonder why the birth defects...
I have never seen this yong kid videos... and I'm sure I not want also. And I not look tv also kast 8 years.... And I feel more good and free.
Does Jeff grow his own food? I've been doing it for a few years, it's one of the best decisions a person can make.
Here's a relevant research video into Greta:
Here's my replies to the first 7 reasons:
This is a DISINFORMATION and PROPAGANDA video.
Jeff, you have said numerous times that the US government is a criminal organization and I agree. But, when Greta lashes out at government leaders in her "how dare you" speech, you wonder why she is so mad?
Greta is doing an immense service for all of humanity, but many people are needed to fight the climate crisis. The climate scientists have already defined the problem - there's too much CO2 in the atmosphere. The engineers and technicians are developing solutions. The gov't will legislate funding for the solutions if, and only if, the activists like Greta wake up enough people who push for action. Until then, nothing happens. The oil corporations are fighting hard to make sure nothing happens. If nothing happens, we are headed for a climate catastrophe of biblical proportions. That's it in a nutshell.
If you follow any of the following YouTube channels, I suggest you stop because they are spreading disinformation and propaganda: PragerU, GWPF, Tony Heller, Sky News Australia, Heartland Institute, BlazeTV, Philosophical Investigations, and Friends of Science, among others, and some of them are in the pockets of the fossil fuel interests. It's true that the Earth's climate has been changing naturally in the past with hotter and colder periods and varying levels of CO2. That's stating the obvious. There are a number of factors that affect the climate including the sun's intensity, volcanoes, and greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, and any combination of these factors are in play at any given time. The climate scientists have ruled out the sun and volcanoes as factors in the current warming period. Natural changes in the climate occur very gradually, over thousands or millions of years. And while it's true that the global temp has risen only about 2 deg F in 100 years, this is about 170 times faster than in any past natural warming period. This video misrepresents all of these facts.
IMO, the most important topic the video fails to mention are carbon tax and cap-and-trade programs that allow for the continued use of fossil fuels, but at reduced carbon emission levels. These programs are have been successful in a number of countries and a few US states. But, of course the cost to the fossil fuel industry is significant, which is why they are fighting desperately against them, including by putting out bogus videos like this one.
The facts are probably accurate, but the conclusions drawn from the facts are fraudulent and/or misleading, imo. That's how these liars create disinformation. For example, he states that increasing CO2 levels in the atmosphere resulted in increases in farm crop yields. Increasing CO2 in the atmosphere may indeed benefit plant life, but apparently, it's also causing global surface temps to rise. The two effects are not mutually exclusive are they? Better land use practices, fertilizers, and farm equipment probably helped as well. What do you think? He also attributes lower famine, poverty, illiteracy, longer human life expectancy, etc to the use of fossil fuels, which is misleading. All of these benefits were brought about by many factors. He talks about the high temps in the western US back in the 1920-1930. He seems to imply they should not be higher than current temps which are affected by global warming. This is absurd and there are several things to mention here. First, global warming affects the entire globe not just a region or even country like the US. Scientists attributed the higher temps in 1920-1930 to known natural causes, not due to global warming. The human-caused CO2 levels were very low until about 1950. That's when global warming started to cause erratic and abnormal weather. So the period before 1950 or so is not relevant to global warming effects. I could go on, but it's getting long. https://insideclimatenews.org/news/12032015/leaked-email-reveals-whos-who-list-climate-denialists-merchants-of-doubt-oreskes-fred-singer-marc-morano-steve-milloy

Here it is in a nutshell. The sun, volcanoes, and greenhouse gases affect the climate, and any combination of the three are always in play. Right now, the climate is warming, but scientists say that both solar and volcanic activity are low. Water vapor and carbon dioxide (CO2) are the largest parts of the greenhouse gases, and of the two, only CO2 is rapidly increasing. The great majority of CO2 comes from nature through the decay of organic matter, and nature (oceans, trees) also absorbs the majority of the CO2. The only causes of rapidly increasing CO2 are coming from burning fossil fuels and the cutting down of trees, which reduces the absorption of CO2 by nature. This is what the climate scientists are saying and they are the only people qualified to assess the climate crisis. But, George Carlin was right as well. The planet will "shake us off like fleas" with a climate catastrophe if we don't do anything to deal with it.

Dr Crockford stated, "No climate emergency for polar bears means no climate emergency period." IMO, that's an absurd statement. The climate crisis refers to the climate of the entire globe not just polar bears. And she states that even though the Arctic ice pack has shrunk 50% since 1979, the polar bear habitat is good and therefore the populations are increasing, but she does not explain why. Other scientists, like Dr. Peter Wadhams, also say that the Arctic ice is rapidly decreasing both in extent (area) and volume (thickness). So, ice that was 6-8 ft thick is now only 2-3 ft thick. Seals live on thin ice because they have to be able to dig breathing holes. Therefore, the seal habitat has expanded, resulting in more seals and more food for polar bears. But, as the Arctic ice continues to shrink, so will the habitat for seals and polar bears, and so polar bears numbers will probably peak and then start falling steeply.
The Earth's climate has been, and always will be changing naturally. The sun's energy reaching the Earth's surface (insolation), volcanoes, and greenhouse gases are the main factors in forcing climate changes, and all three are always in play. It's not just one, it's all three all the time. And all three are always changing. When the Earth's orbit moved it further from the sun, as it does periodically, insolation dropped, causing an ice age and CO2 levels had little effect even if they were very high. As the Earth's orbit moved it closer to the sun, insolation increased and high CO2 levels would increase the warming. For the past 10k-11k years, insolation and CO2 levels have been relatively stready, but volcanic activity caused some short-lived climate changes like the Little Ice Age. Since about 1860, CO2 levels started to rise. Around 1950, CO2 levels had apparently risen high enough (300 ppm) to start AGW. And during the 1980's, CO2 levels and AGW had risen high enough to cause climate change. Right now CO2 levels are about 412 ppm and rising 2-3 ppm per year. If somehow we could reduce the CO2 level back down to the 1950 level of 300 ppm, AGW would probably stop and plant life would still thrive. If we had started 30-40 years ago, we might be there today. But, it's too late now.
I'm sure you remember how the tobacco industries hid the dangers of smoking for decades, and even targeted teens with ads that portrayed smoking as cool and sexy. Consequently, countless young people got hooked early and smoked their entire lives until they died from lung cancer. Well, the fossil fuel industries have borrowed the same playbook. They have been hiding the climate crisis for decades, and consequently, humanity will see a era of climate catastrophe unfold over the coming generations. It's already baked in the cake. They have been hiding it through a massive campaign of disinformation and propaganda spread via MSM and YouTube channels. An "ice age is coming," and "the world is cooling not heating" are part of that campaign.
However, the UN and the global elites have known since at least the end of WWII that global warming would lead to a climate crisis. They have also known that our current economic system that depends on infinite growth on a finite planet was not sustainable. They developed Agenda 21/30 as a framework for a sustainable civilization during an era of climate catastrophe. By the time this agenda has been implemented to near completion, fossil fuels will have been used up and we will have transitioned largely to renewable and nuclear energy. The climate catastrophe will depopulate the poorer undeveloped countries. The wealthier developed countries will have institutionalized population controls (two children per family limit) but will not have suffered nearly as much. In 1992, Severn Suzuki gave the world an early warning of the impending climate crisis, but not much has been done since then. That's why we have a climate crisis staring us in the face now. Greta is giving us a final warning. If we act on time, we will end up with a zero-growth Agenda 21/30 society. The alternative is near-term human extinction, probably before 2100.
Dealing with the climate crisis will require a herculean mobilization of industry. We'll need to 1) install carbon removal and storage mods in coal-fired power plants to reduce emissions, 2) build many direct-air-capture plants around the world to remove CO2 from the atmosphere, and 3) restore natural carbon sinks (trees) on a massive scale. It'll cost in the trillions of dollars spread over decades, so governments will need to legislate funding. This won't happen unless the activists led by Greta are able to awaken and motivate enough people who pressure governments to act. Everything depends on the activists.
