Jio Has launched the GIGA fiber and we can't keep calm?

After making a huge impact on the cellular network industry, Jio has finally launched its GIGA fiber on the occasion of its 41st AGM. Isha Ambani The daughter of Mr Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries seen to be demonstrating the product alongside brother Akash.

The main focus of jio will be on bringing a revolution in the Broadband industry which also includes Cable Tv. JioGigaFibre will be based on Fiber to the home (FTTH) technology which also promises to provides the speed up to 1gigabyte per second.

What is FTTH?
FTTH, as the name suggests, means installing the fiber cable right up to the individual building. At present, the fiber cable reaches only till the main premises while the last connections to individual homes/offices are through traditional copper cable. So the FTTH technology will definitely lead to high-speed data connections.

What are the Benefits?
Jio Now promised to bring the speed on Gbps count rather than Mbps. Now with Jio fiber, we do not need those old school DTH cables because The fiber itself will help in Tv streaming with up to 4K quality display. It also provides a smart remote controller which will be equipped with Voice assistance just like the Google assistance or SIRI from iPhone means Any content will be played on just a simple voice command. You can also make Video calling to your near and dear ones using JIO fiber.

who will be benefited?
From A single Individual to the small-scale industries everyone will take the benefit by different means.

When will it be available?
There is no clear mention on the availability of this product but i think Just like the JIo phone Jio will first see The customers interest with pre-booking and will then lend it to the offline markets. The Rumors are that it may again ask for some Refundable deposits just like the Jio phone.

What will be the price?
Again no confirmation on this, but we all know Mr.Ambani is very good at giving surprises so we have to wait till it launch.
