Google now has a class action lawsuit.

In case you haven't heard, Google fired a worker because of a 10 page manifesto regarding the lack of diversity in it's programming department. The memo did not defame anyone, yet it managed to ruffle a bunch of snowflakes feathers. Well, Google can now explain it's self in court and the young man they fired was not the only one. The public backlash has been swift. Americans are going to protest every Google office across the country on Saturday August 19th. I f you want to have diversity in the type of people you hire, you should also want diversity in the ideas expressed by employees. There seems to be a bit of irony in how Google has approached this subject.

To make matters worse, several Google managers have revealed that blacklist exist in the company. These list comprise the names of people managers don't want to work with because of political affiliation. This is about the most immature thing I can think of, especially coming from highly educated staff. Because of this, CEO Sundar Pichai is now in the hot seat over this scandal.
