The protesters want to build seven districts of Uttar Pradesh and seven districts of Madhya Pradesh with separate Bundelkhand states.
The seven districts of Uttar Pradesh are Jhansi, Banda, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Lalitpur, Jalan and Chitrakoot. And seven districts of Madhya Pradesh are Datia, Chhatarpur, Damoh, Panna, Sagar, Tikamgarh and Bidisha. Apart from this, the protesters wanted to include six more districts of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh in their proposed Bundelkhand state. These six districts are Bhind, Gwalior, Marina, Shippur, Shivpuri and Dholpur.
On Monday, 250 protesters joined the movement in Ambedkar Park near Allah Chowki in Mahoba district under Bundelkhand in Uttar Pradesh. They have been continuing the hunger strike for a long time. They said they will continue the movement until separate states are formed.
Demand for separate separate four states in Uttar Pradesh breaks long The four proposed states are: Harit Province, Purvanchal, Bundelkhand and Awad.
