BREAKING NEWS : U.S Draft bill protecting Cryptocurrencies!

Members of the U.S Congress are drafting a bill to protect multiple Cryptocurrencies from the likes of the Federal reserve and central authorities e.g Taxation and other forms of regulation.
As reported earlier by cointelegraph.com , currencies that meet minimum requirements e.g do not allow trafficking or illegal activity etc will be considered.
Also interestingly the congressmen did not want to be identified fearing the sensitivity of the issue or fear of backlash in other words.
What does this mean?
Initial reports coming out are hinting that Cryptocurrencies will be looked at as mainstream forms of payment (Digital money) , this is absolutely monumental depending on which side of the fence you sit regarding government interference with business (ah hem @jeffberwick).
Let's hope this is real and that other countries start following.
