It's amazing how a large part of what went wrong in the Florida shooting was law enforcement not doing anything about this kid despite the numerous complaints and known problems. Yet, somehow this police officer thinks he has all the answers on what to do next.
I knew this would be coming the moment I heard the FBI "missed" something because they got a tip from a youtuber about a comment left on his video. This is the most logical way to disarm citizens who don't support gun control laws. First, make laws that restrict gun ownership for mentally ill people. Second, make anyone who has guns mentally ill.
It's sad for me to admit that I froze up when some one made the aguement for the sherrif Israel's proposal. When I countered with the possibility of them or their loved ones being misunderstood or a joke in bad taste leading to their being tossed into a padded room. They persisted in their support & even said they'd gladly sacrifice their freedom or that of their own children so long as their being kept safe. I couldn't believe it & I was dumbfounded...speachless. How do you reason with that? Is there any reason in that thinking?
