How these traditions originate are the
fact that after the death of King Maharaja Dirajo in the middle of the twelfth century, there were three queens and their three sons behind them. When the three sons were very young, then the big queen took charge of the rule. In this way, the 'women's rule' started here. At present, the population of the community is around 9 million.

Very interesting.. somewhat like India but I like Minang culture on putting women at a high position while in Indian culture, women pay the dowry but men still overpower hehehe which as whole, cultures are unique in their ow way. Thanks for sharing @christinelakra
