Apple co-founder spoke of mistrust of Ilona Mask
Steve Wozniak said he no longer believes the promises of Tesla head Ilona Mask. About this writes Business Insider
Wozniak recalled the promise of Ilona Mask by the end of 2016 to equip the company's cars with sensors that would allow them to independently travel to the driver "across the country" at his call.
Then he mentioned the Tesla break with the developer of equipment for the autopilot Mobileye: in 2016, the companies announced the termination of cooperation against the background of Mobileye's statements about Tesla's attempts to "go beyond the limits of the possible from the security point of view".
In August 2017, Mask told about Tesla's plans to make a trip across the country only at the end of the year. According to Wozniak, this undermined his confidence.
The co-founder of Apple said that now he uses Tesla mainly for long trips.
Wozniak also mentioned the story of an attempt to acquire Tesla in 2004. Then Wozniak and his family waited half a year to get on the waiting list for the car from Ilona Mask, but eventually they refused and bought Mercedes.
