And as soon as too many people see it, all confidence is lost and the entire thing will crash to rubble.

Further, economic forces are such that stock market will crash. It is only being held up by money printing. So, at some point they won't be able to print enough money.

Although, the stock market could crash higher. All of the people sell for huge profits, and the stock market just keeps going up, although no one except computers and the plunge protection team can buy.
