Truly saddening. People should be screened for emotional empathy when applying for jobs that require compassion. Then again, maybe some people become so removed from their job that their compassion fades for those in their care. This must have been heartbreaking for the family to see. I would be livid, even if it was a relative that I knew didn't have long to live.
