Foreign Ministry promises Ukrainians a visa-free travel with another country

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said that it was agreed to intensify efforts aimed at signing in the near future a bilateral agreement on the abolition of visa requirements for citizens of Ukraine and Colombia.

KIEV, April 14 (Itar-Tass) - RIA Novosti Ukraine. After Uruguay and Peru, the Ukrainian side reached an agreement with Colombia on the completion of formalities on the abolition of visa requirements for citizens of the two countries, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.

"Sergei Pogoreltsev, Director of the Department of Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during a visit to Latin America with the purpose of realizing the tasks of the President of Ukraine regarding the expansion of the visa-free geography for citizens of Ukraine, held a targeted meeting with the Director of Consular and Migration Affairs of the Colombian Foreign Ministry, Lu Stella Portilla, and the Director of the Department for Europe of the Foreign Ministry of this country Juan Guillermo Castro, "the Foreign Ministry reported.

The parties agreed to intensify their efforts aimed at signing in the near future a bilateral agreement on the abolition of visa requirements for citizens of Ukraine and Colombia.
