Coinexchange.io Website Down
After a busy day, I thought I'd hop on coinexchange and do a little trading.
Or so I thought.
Apparently the website has been suffering from spam emails causing DNS issues, thus interfering with the ability to connect to the site, let alone log in or trade. Earlier today they sent out a tweet explaining the situation:
While it's reassuring they say they haven't been hacked, it still raises concerns that there are people out there trying to mess with the exchange, and succeeding. Things like this generally scare people, even if it has nothing to do with a breach of security, and I wouldn't be surprised to see trades suffer because of it.
Hopefully the issues are fixed soon and the site is up and running. Time is money for them and their traders.
