Bike accident

A day after four youths suffered serious injuries in a head-on collision between a bike and a Scooty near the roundabout in Sector 10, one of them succumbed to injuries late in the evening here on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Jeevandeep Singh, 22, a student of DAV College, Sector 10. He was pursuing BSc. A resident of Sector 52, Chandigarh, he succumbed to injuries at Government Multi-Specialty Hospital (GMSH), Sector 16.

The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon, when two youths — Jeevandeep and Joyshree — were riding their bike towards Sector 10/11 intersection. Two girls — Seba, a resident of Sector 23, and her friend Ekta on the pillion — were riding their Scooty towards the roundabout of Hotel Mountview, Sector 10. While Seba is seeking admission to DAV College, Sector 10, Ekta is a student of Government College for Girls, Sector 42.
