Hi guys!

My first gaming post is here! This is for all you PS4 gamers out there, mark August 22 in your agenda!

I just came across this 12 minute gameplay trailer for the next Uncharted; Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. The next Uncharted installment will be focused on thief / treasure hunter Chloe Fraser teaming up with mercenary Nadine Cross to find the fabled Tusk of Ganesh. First off I wasn’t too thrilled about this because to me these aren’t the most exciting characters. But Naughty Dog is set on proving me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with a bit of GIRL-ON-GIRL ACTION. This gameplay trailer is getting me hyped up!

Perfecting the perfect

The scene starts with a breathtaking view of India’s western Ghats region. But hey, this is nothing new right? It actually reminded me of a scene of Uncharted: A Thief's End, where Nate, brother Sam and Sully drive a similar Jeep through the plains of Madagascar. If you’re known to the series you know there has been little to nothing wrong with these games. Every game looks and feels like a blockbuster movie, the voice acting is good, it’s action-packed, has intricate puzzles and beautiful exotic destinations; it's all there. Despite all this, every game did feel the same. But as the Chinese saying goes: ‘Learning is treasure no thief can touch’. Not even master thief Chloe apparently, because every game did feel better to me on every aspect and with The Lost Legacy Naughty Dog doesn’t look to be making any exception.

All action looks even more fluid (check out the dive at 12:00). I think this is what you can expect; more adventure, more story and all of it even more polished. Main reason for me to get hyped is the levels seem to be way more open-world-like than the previous Uncharted games. To me the previous games were really good, but for the most part they did follow one straight path. In The Lost Legacy you seem to be more free in your choices. Speaking of choice; the trailers shows two action sequences, in one it’s stealth all the way, in the other guns blazin’, it’s all up to you.

Are we gonna miss Drake and Elena? Off course, but hopefully this game will be the cherry on top of the cake that’s called Uncharted.
