Google gives priority to the stable applications in the Play Store
Google has announced new changes to how apps are stacked in the Play Store to increase the likelihood of getting into a program that - well, actually works.
According to data from the giant's digital platform, half of one-star reviews in the Play Store are related to the instability of the apps and the fact that they are stuck. With that in mind, Google will change the search engine algorithm to give priority to applications and games that are of higher quality, better optimization and stability.
Google advises developers, whose applications suddenly find themselves at the bottom of the search engine, to pay more attention to user feedback and make the necessary improvements.
The Play Store Search Engine is traditionally a complete mess, and it's very difficult to find the desired app even if you enter its exact name. Such a change ought to have happened a long time ago, but as it is said - better late than never.
