Amazon will create a talking dron
Amazon filed a patent application at the US Patent and Trademark Office to create a talking dron. The solution will ensure customer safety because the unmanned flying device will be able to warn of a potential hazard.
According to the patent, Amazon's unmanned aircraft will be able to conduct a voice dialogue with the person in the immediate vicinity to request information and/or answer questions. This solution will benefit not only security but also the convenience of customers. For example, the talking dron will be asked to cancel the delivery for another time.
In addition, the patent states that the dron will be able to ask the person to identify himself before giving him the order.
Amazon does not yet guarantee that the drones will be flawless. So the patent states that the dron can be exhausted, knocked or knit in something. Due to the ability to speak, the drones can ask the person near him to perform the necessary actions: to inform him of his location, to be moved, tattered, sent to the control center or to a place of loading.
Amazon is going to be one of the most successful companies over the next decade because they are seeking to totally upend the logistical chain. This has huge implications versus its competitors. Basically, Amazon is seeking to eliminate the last mile, the distance between your store and home. How do they get products, autonomously, to your front door? That is what they seek to answer in the next couple years.
