Flood in Kerala-INDIA🏞
The state KERALA in India is highly affected by rainfall in late July.It is for the first time when India is severly affected by high flood in its one state.Thirty-five out of the forty-two dams within the state were opened for the first time in history. All five overflow gates of the Idukki Dam were opened at the same time, for the first time in 26 years.
There was a damange of US$3billion estimated till now.
The main causes of flood is low pressure,heavy rainfall,discharging water from thirtyfive dams and land slides.
