A child was born four years after the death of his parents in a road accident. The incident happened in China. The couple were killed in road accidents in 2013.

The BBC said they had preserved some of the defects that they would give birth to the baby through IVF. The family members of the deceased have to fight in legal battle over whether the embryos can be used after the accident.

Later, in December, the fetus was given a child by renting a womb of Laos. The news was first broadcast by Chinese media Beijing News First.

The newspaper said that before there was no such instance of such incident, they had to fight a major legal battle before going for a pregnancy.

The couple's embryos were kept in a fluid nitrogen tank at minus 196 degree temperature at Nanjing Hospital. Finally, the child's grandfather was allowed to produce a child on rent.
