The Real Madrid star and the Portuguese national team delivered it through Twitter on Twitter and Instagram uploads, while including pictures of him and his four children. Ronaldo also uploaded a photo of a Rohingya man holding his son in a refugee camp in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh.

"A world where we all love our children," Ronaldo said on the title of the edited photo, which was uploaded on Thursday last week.

Reported by Asia Correspondent, not only upload photos, Ronaldo's tweet also includes a link to the fund-raising page for Save the Children, Rohingya Crisis Children's Relief Fund.

Ronaldo's actions follow what other celebrities have done such as Jennifer Garner and Dakota Fanning by including the same charity link.

According to the charity, donations will help provide as many children and families as possible with life saving support such as water, food and shelter.

At least 688,000 refugees have fled the Bagan Rakhine State since the Myanmar army began a purge operation against the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army militia on August 25, 2017. The military has since been accused of mass killings, rape and arson in Muslim villages.

The UN estimates that about half of the nearly one million people in Bangladesh's refugee camp are children. Many are at risk of severe malnutrition and disease outbreaks in dirty conditions.

Save The Children has previously uploaded a statement by Ronaldo stating that "As a father it is hard not to feel the pain of children victims of the Rohingya refugee crisis."

Ronaldo or also known as CR-7, one of the richest athletes in the world, is also actively involved in various charitable activities. He is the ambassador of Save the Children, Unicef, and World Vision.

In 2011, the world's 5th-best player sold his European-award winning gold shoes to raise funds to build a school in war-torn Gaza. In 2013, the 33-year-old man sold his Ballon d'Or trophy at a charity auction to raise cash for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
