One big reason why I don't really like taking pain medication is because it's just treating the symptom and not the actual problem. Pharmaceutical companies just want us to keep buying pain meds because even though we get pain relief, it is temporary and we just go back for more!
So very true! Pain doesn't just appear out of nowhere, it is caused by some underlying issue. The pain is our body's way of bringing the underlying issue to our attention so we can deal with it.
