Courtois joins Real Madrid!!!! Navas set to stay??? Kepa and Kovacic join Chelsea!?!?
After weeks of ups and downs, speculation, negoatiation and frustrastion Chelsea have finally agreed to sell Courtois to Real Madrid for a fee of €35m. The Belgian goalkeeper joined Chelsea in 2011 aged just 19 before immediately being loaned to Ateltico Madrid for three seasons. At Atletico the Belgian superstar was extremely succesful and led them to various success such as beating their city rivals (Real Madrid) for the first time in 15 years. After his return to Chelsea Courtois and Cech fought for the position as number one at Chelsea and Courtois eventually beat his superior veteran Peter Cech. Peter Cech then transferred to Arsenal. Courtois' only rival De Gea was also previously looking towards Real Madrid however after years of chasing Madrid finally burnt the De Gea option bridge and settled for Navas. Courtois then expressed his desire to arrive in Spain. Immediately Madrid fought to bring him to Spain and have finally managed to succeed.
After four years of absoluet success at Chelsea the Belgian has finally called time and moved to the greatest club in the world. Chelsea have signed Kepa from Atheltic Bilbao as his replacement for a record breaking 80million AUD and as part of Courtois' move to Madrid, Mateo Kovacic has joined Chelsea on a one season loan. On a side note Keylor Navas is set to stay put at Real Madrid and become and excellent second choice goalkeeper for Los Blancos.
