A woman who was visiting the Great Wall of China fell more than 33ft after losing her footing.
The tourist had been with friends climbing an undeveloped section of the natural cliff face leading up to the famous landmark.
The woman, who has not been named, fell around 10 metres (33 feet) on the Jiankou section of the Ming Great Wall, one of the most visible parts of the entire Great Wall of China.
The section of wall is considered one of the most dangerous sections of the ancient fortress and was constructed between 1551 and 1555.
