Standing Rock - The Water Protectors
Why is this issue not being addressed by the present and coming President? We see the recent rioting shown on TV regarding voting, but not much about this situation that has been going on for months .
Who decides what news needs to be important for people to be aware of?
Retired Petty Officer, Kash Jackson, a retired U.S. Navy man at the main camp of water protectors in Cannonball, North Dakota. Jackson held the U.S. flag upside down in protest of the human rights violations occurring at Standing Rock with Native American and non-Native water protectors as the victims.
I would agree but that also begs the question of the current administration. and actually we can all pretty much geuss where the incoming administration stands so to me the only hope is the current sitting president who already said he will just wait it out. and Hillary outright said she would build the pipeline
It seems like this will be a long effort indeed... the world is watching and hoping that next time democracy is brought about foreign countries not following some guidelines this can be an issue to bring about.
