Breaking: Syrian Army foils militant infiltration attempt in northern Hama
BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:20 P.M.) - The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) foiled another infiltration attempt by the Islamist rebels in the northern countryside of the Hama Governorate.
According to a military communique from the nearby town of Mhardeh, the militants of Jaysh Al-Izza attempted to sneak past the Syrian Arab Army's lines in Tal Bizam on Monday.
However, the Syrian Arab Army spotted the militants before they could reach their front-lines at the large hilltop of Tal Bizam.
The Syrian Army reportedly killed three militants from Jaysh Al-Izza before the latter once again withdrew towards their lines in the northern countryside of Hama.
Today's infiltration attempt by Jaysh Al-Izza marks the second time in the last 24 hours that they have attempted to sneak past the Syrian Arab Army's lines in the northern countryside of the Hama province.
