I know that military has been using them for awhile now. I've also seen the medical industry push chips that can "give early warning of illness". Seems they couldn't sell it so now comes the hard push. You won't be able to "buy or sell" if you don't have a job/chip. May tie into socialized medicine as well. Could be a stipulation to obtain govt. subsidized care. There's a ton of ways to sell us being marked like an animal.
