Alastair Majury On Urban Fly Tipping in Dunblane
Dunblane High Street has become that latest victim of fly tippers in the Stirling Council area, with bags of rubbish piling up outside the Dunblane branch of the Royal Bank of Scotland, this was first reported to the council on Wednesday 13thJune, with council officers confirming that is fly tipping due to being in unbranded clear sacks rather than in Stirling Council branded purple or clear sacks, with the Safer Community team being alerted and tasked to clear this.
The Fly-Tipped Rubbish was removed by Wednesday 20thJune 2018.
Local Conservative Councillor Alastair Majury Said:
“Fly-tippers are a blight to our communities and we must do everything we can to prevent this.Itis an illegal, and thoughtless act that is damaging to the local environment and costly to resolve.”
