A number of photographers filled the eastern courtyard of the National Monument, Jakarta, Wednesday, to capture the rare events of a lunar eclipse that followed the phenomenon of "super moon, blue moon and blood moon".

"Want to see and photograph the process of eclipse," said

Ruri Hargiyono one of the photography enthusiasts when talking with reporters.

He said he chose Monas because the location is easy to reach because it is close to the workplace.

Ruri who is a member of Jakarta Motret community is preparing a number of tools to photograph the lunar eclipse, including the camera body, lens, tripod and other supporting equipment.

Meanwhile, Wiwi Kurniati photography lovers regret the total lunar eclipse that occasionally covered the clouds.

"If there is no cloud covering maybe the lunar eclipse process will look good phase by stage," said member of the Low Budget Photo Kang community.

Wiwi said in addition to photographing and seeing the eclipse, he also wanted to meet other friends especially the photography community.

The phenomenon of a total lunar eclipse with super moon, blue moon and blood moon simultaneously itself is rare because it only exists in a 150-year cycle.

Based on observations around the Monas, the weather appears cloudy so the moon is not visible due to blocked clouds. This is in line with the estimates of the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency which estimates the sky around Jakarta when the eclipse will be covered with clouds with a percentage of more than 60 percent.
