Cafe serves world's most dangerous ice cream

This ice-cream parlour in Glasgow is prepping up for Valentine’s Day in the least predictable way, by serving a scoop of what is known to be the most dangerous ice-cream in the world.

The Aldwych Café and Ice-Cream Parlour has recently introduced a scoop of ice-cream that requires you to sign a waiver before actually tasting it; The waiver mentions plausible consequences of “personal injury, illness and possible loss of life” as well.

‘Respiro Del Diavolo’, known in English as Breath of the Devil, accessible for consumption by only adults over 18, is told to be 500 times spicier than Tabasco sauce.

The zesty taste of the ice-cream is so sturdy that the staff feels it essential to wear gloves just for dishing up, in order to avoid irritation on the skin.

The blazing ice-cream is a conception of the café owner, Martin Bandoni’s family, and has its roots in Italy from 1936 and is made fresh everyday from local ingredients as well as precise components brought all the way from Italy.

Lee Bandoni, the 38 year old brother of the Café owner has reported: "The recipe is very secret, very few of us know it and when the time is right Martin's children will get to find out about it and they will go to Italy and learn the ins and outs of it."
