Issues about us Filipino public school teachers, brought me out of the creative closet. I have been keeping three blogs for several years now, just to express myself and to make sense of everything.

I also have two anonymous wattpad accounts and three email addresses I barely use. Life is not exactly empty but it lacks meaningful connections, one of the reasons I am here right now.

I got tired of blogging without readers I personally am acquainted with since these blogs are kept in an anonymous profile. I also don’t share these blogs with people I know because they are very personal and I fear sharing too much of myself with people… until my brother told me about steemit.

Hi, I am Heaven (yes, that’s my real name) from the Philippines. I actually don’t like talking about myself but I like writing about issues and concerns I care about.

When a co-teacher approached me and asked that she heard from someone that I write articles for a price, I got a little bit rattled for a reason. I love writing and I used to give out writing favors which is usually compensated by the receiving party. But I was never really into helping people "cheat" just to earn money.

I mean the skills God gave me are not meant to be used in such a way.

But you don’t get paid for writing articles, I thought, unless you are a professional writer. You do not get paid writing about things you care about.

So, here I am. Initially looking for financial gain and eventually drawn because of what I have read and seen.
I will be writing about the things I am passionate about and hope to find people who have the same interests.
Because I have a lot of interests!
