In signing up for Steem. Things you have to be careful of;
You have to verify with your email and phone number before you can have access to steem.
Your username must be noted i.e( you must not forget.
Password will be generated for you, that's your master key.
(Note; There is what is called master key, posting key, memo key, owner key. You must take note of all this cause keys can't be recovered for you)
After logging in ( master key) you will have to login ( just click the pencil on the up right corner) it will ask for your your user name and your posting key. Not master key but posting key take note.
Then you can post your article, tangible things about steem.
Be careful when adding tags. Your tag mist correspond with your article.
Maximum tag in a post is 8 tags.
Master key, posting key, memo key, and owner key will be downloaded for you on the site. It will be downloaded to your pdf.
Make sure you have pdf.
Note: Those keys downloaded to your pdf must not be shared with anyone
