Apple boss Tim Cook ponders who will inherit him as CEO of the world's most valuable company.
In the summer of 2011, Cook followed in the footsteps of Apple founder Steve Jobs . In the six years at the top of the 57-year-old has not only set the Group with the Apple Watch, the streaming service Apple Music or the voice speaker HomePod broader, but was also in terms of profit performance extremely successful.

This was made clear again on Tuesday at this year's Shareholders' Meeting, when Cook stated he saw "the handover of the season" as one of his most important tasks. Officially, there is no date for the "season handover" and according to "Bloomberg" there is no reason for Tim Cook's early departure. Nevertheless, the US news portal speculates on potential successors, of which there are numerous. No wonder, after all, Cook had stated in an interview with "Buzzfeed" last year that he considers it his job to prepare as many potential successors as possible for the CEO role.
Jeff Williams
The most promising future candidate for the position of CEO is, according to "Bloomberg" Jeff Williams, at least if Tim Cook should resign in the near future. The 54-year-old COO has been working for Apple for a very long time since 1998.
Jeff Williams was instrumental in launching the iPhone and Apple's entry into the mobile phone market. More recently, he has been known in the public eye for presenting the latest features of the Apple Watch at product presentations.
Craig Federighi
Another promising candidate is beside Craig Federighi. Within the group, he seems to have the reputation to be very diligent and reliable.
The 48-year-old software chief is regarded as an experienced manager and can also perform well in public. For large product presentations, he has repeatedly demonstrated charisma when introducing new features. With his appearances on stage, he succeeds regularly to convince journalists, users and investors.
Angela Ahrendts
Good chances for the Apple throne admits "Bloomberg" but also Angela Ahrendts. Although the 57-year-old joined Apple only in 2014, she has established good relationships with employees and customers and, as former CEO of Burberry, has been entrusted with looking after customers and employees.
