I (seamusog) am not a content creator.
My objective is to get the attention of regular Youtube content creators by sharing popular videos.
From now on I will contact the creators directly to inform them I am posting their content on STEEMIT.
Should the posts become popular I pledge to share the proceeds directly with the creator if they sign up and commit to posting on STEEMIT

It would be cool to know if other Steemer's have tried this approach, or if anyone is interested in discussing/taking the pledge.

Great Jtm I appreciate your input but I think you may be missing the point, STEEMSHARE. I'm really not interested in the rewards. The idea is to have a discussion about the quality of posts and to attract quality creators. Any additional contributions (not rewards) would be appreciated.
