We find person with dimples so beautiful and adorable.

Even some people say that a person having dimples on his cheeks is very lucky but do you know it is actually a genetic defect??

Dimples are caused by shortened facial muscles.

when a person smiles,the shorter muscle on the face pulls up the facial skin,which causes depression in the skin,named dimples.

Though it is a genetic defect,they are inherited and passed from one generation to the next.
