JOURNALISM IS DEAD
I've said many times that the world around us is awakening. The chains used to bind us are being loosened and our ability to find the truth is becoming easier by the day. As a trained journalist I've been sickened to see formerly sacred rules of journalism being kicked to the side for ratings, money and to intentionally mislead the public. Free media doesn't exist and we'll pay for allowing "Journalists' with political agendas to operate with impunity. Journalism has been replaced by political activism disguised as entertainment commentary.
WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT IT
It's important that we use our resources to verify news reports. Skepticism about everything we read is a required attitude to maintain regardless of what we read or watch. We can also be more proactive. Citizen journalism is more important now than ever. What can we do specifically?
- Build a Network of Citizen Journalists.
- Live Stream Local Protests, and Gov. Meetings.
- Demand Newspapers Tighten Requirements When Using Anon Sources.
It's time to build our own societal watchdog, our "Free" press has failed us.
